Lets say NY have  20000 people staying at a hospital every day.

Lets say short counted 5000 of them drink a soda every day,

5000 times 0,10 for the bottle

500 times 365 equals 182 500 dollars every year.

What do they do for the money company trips ? cleeners ? and maybe some camera equipment for that

they cant buy on the company card.

Every hospital has cameras in every room.

The doctors take in your behaviour when you are alone at your room also.

And i wouldnt be suprised if they listening to the hospitals phones also
